gps’ing in greenland
Written on July 24, 2008
So far things have gone pretty well up here, even without full net access (which i might be able to remedy for a nominal fee).
With a little help from the little net access i have and some superglue, i managed to get the gps mouse up and running with the new macbook pro. turns out that the metal shield inside the gps unit had come free and was shorting the damn thing out (hence the superglue). once that was done, the drivers worked fine. originally i though it might have been a driver issue, as the device is no longer supported, but i lucked out.
so later i’ll be playing with some tracking software and see about geo-tagging some pics for everyones amusement and maybe, just maybe, put Kanger on the map.
