last week ryan received a ticket to help a user out. regrettably he had to put in another ticket to GIS and put the user down as the primary contact. today she im’d him…
Kim: what on earth did you do to me?
Ryan: Uh oh.
Ryan: What’s happening?
Kim: he won’t leave me alone!!!!!!
GIS can be kind of tenacious. so in good humor ryan spreads the fun around to the rest of us. usually we’re the ones that suffer from GIS’s last minute tenacity. come to find out, they had already pestered our team lead about it.
Chris wait
Chris: i know her name from somewhere
Ryan: From how long ago?
Chris: today i think
Chris: yes, ok
Chris: she was having VPN problems
Chris: but she was using some VPN portal that ive never seen before
Ryan: yep, her extranet on site won’t connect to Atlanta servers
Chris: i dont knwo where it came from
Ryan: Who contacted you about it?
Chris: Corporate GIS
