Zach’s Arctic Tex-Mex Butter Chili
(aka: Zach’s Alaskan Chili, with butter)
(aaka: ZAC w/Butter)
- 2 lb. venison, caribou and/or musk-ox meat
- sweet onions
- elephant garlic
- celery and leaves
- green peppers
- tomato
- butter beans
- yukon gold potatoes
- yukon jack whisky
- bakers chocolate
- cinnamon
- butter (lots)
saute the all the meats and veggies in butter. yes, ALL of them… if you can manage to saute the tomatoes too, more power to you.
once all the ingredients are prepped, throw them all into a pot and let it cook together. add cinimon, bakers chocolate and peppers as spice.
Note: this is an ‘off the hip’ old-fashioned style recipe. you will need to play with the jack and spices to suit your taste.
